Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has cautioned his citizens that his government won't be responsible if the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine turns people into "crocodiles" or make women bearded as a side-effect, leaving netizens baffled.
Bolsonaro, who had tested positive for coronavirus after months of undermining the pandemic shared Brazil's vaccine distribution plans recently, saying that inoculations would eventually be provided free of charge "for everyone who wants it," while insisting that he has chosen not to be vaccinated.
"In the Pfizer contract, it's very clear: 'we're not responsible for any side-effects.' If you turn into a crocodile, it's your problem," he said, according to news agency AFP.

So I just finished reading a thread about how opiod drug makers can be sued by babies if mommy abuses opiods, but these guys are in the clear? I suddenly have a urge for some water to wash down the pretzel logic here....

That's actually pretty damn funny.
I've already had COVID-19. Have the three-page letter from the Health Dept. imposing a quarantine on my entire household, enumerating the various fines which could be levied, etc.
But do you think that means that I can now walk around, unmolested, without wearing a mask?

It wouldn't, because...
I can't simply enter a large supermarket or dept. store or other public place unmasked without causing a furor.
No one is going to wait and see if I can produce written evidence that I am now (naturally) immune to Covid, and can thus neither contract nor transmit it.
I suppose that I could constantly announce my arrival at large public gatherings with a bullhorn, proclaiming, "I am immune and I have the paperwork to prove it!", but that would be ridiculous.
Hence, I am forced to continue observing all of the new "rules and regulations" even though it is completely pointless, in my case.

And that is a GOOD thing !!! And also only 1/2 the story.
That implies we have no recourse if we have side effects. That is not true.
The vaccine act covers us.
So we cannot sue and destroy the companies making the vaccines,
