Thanks!!
If you like my tree, wait ‘til you see my Savior!
You’re welcome, and I thought it was too.
Nice story!! My Jewish husband ALSO LOVES Christmas.....he watches Christmas movies the whole month!! GIOD BLESS HIM!
“Hanukah is fine, it really is.”
?????
Captain Kirk wasn’t Jewish, but Bill Shatner is. ;-D
That’s a good story for Christmas worshippers. Of course from a Christian world view it was sad.
The one for whom Christmas was named wasn’t mentioned. He is the one
in eternity with whom we can spend Christmas everyday delighting in the
Light of God.
As a young woman, I worked for a Jewish family construction firm. All of the office staff was Christian. One year when I was in charge of getting the Christmas tree, I selected and brought in a “normal” tree. When the 80 year old grandfather of the family saw it, he said, “No, no...get a bigger tree. Get more lights and decorations.” He told us that when he was a boy, he couldn’t have a tree and he always wanted one.
Lovely! Thanks, Kaslin, for this and all the articles you post so regularly. Happy Hannukah, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
If a guy was a Jewish Muslim he would never have to work. The only problem is he would have to kill himself.
My Jewish cousins always had a Christmas tree.

Hi.
Imagine growing up in a household where you celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas.
Hurts the pocketbook it does.

Great story Kaslin. Christmas and Hanukah come at the right time here in North America. The colored lights, lighted candles and gifts for kids help lift the winter gloom.
Every tree we ever had was a fire hazard up until the little lights that don’t get so hot.
My brother (RIP) and me used to get a kick out of how the tinsel would make a spark and a bzzt when you laid it across the train tracks.
