If they were interested in saving lives, you would be hearing more in the media than the word "vaccine." You would be hearing things like, "BREAKING NEWS, New therapeutic remedies have been tested and given the green light for distribution and prescription, to treat people early, at home, and greatly reduce the numbers of people needing hospital beds."

Talking about “trusting” scientists is a sign of a very small mind. Science is skeptical by nature, so even other scientists do not “trust scientists”, if they are doing their job properly. They should always be acting under the assumption that other scientists (and themselves) will make mistakes, be missing vital information, make oversights, be subject to irrationalities, fudge data, and yes, even be intentionally dishonest or fraudulent.
To think that “trusting scientists” is something proper or praiseworthy just says to everyone that you are an idiot.
