A large percentage of front-line workers in hospitals and nursing homes have refused to take the Covid-19 vaccine, a hurdle for public health officials as the country struggles to roll out inoculations around the country.
About 50 percent of front-line workers in California’s Riverside County have refused to take the vaccine, Riverside Public Health Director Kim Saruwatari told The Los Angeles Times on Thursday. California is currently overwhelmed with cases as hospital staff in Southern California face a shortage of intensive-care units and have created makeshift units.
Vaccine development and distribution has been the target of persistent conspiracy theories and disinformation on social media, although it's unclear how much impact this anti-vaccination movement has had on overall public trust in the process.

So are they refusing it because they are young and healthy or because they don’t trust it?
If they don’t want it then give their dose to somebody who wants it. If you don’t want it then shut up and get out of the way.

I don’t believe 50% are refusing the vaccine, especially 50% of the health care professionals working in the hospitals and ICUs. Not if they’re seeing the kinds of patients as reported.
Maybe because they don’t trust anyone anymore?

Maybe they know something we don’t, being closer to the medical “profession”, which is losing it’s professionalism more and more each day.

Do you notice how the media does not talk about how many healthcare workers have been infected and died?
First, only 10 states report infections/deaths among healthcare workers. The rest do not.
Of those states, about 10% of all infections are among healthcare workers who wear masks, wash, disinfect, etc.
Interesting.
The only people that really need it are the elderly and people with medical issues
I didn't see any indication that those who refused were mouthy or standing in anyone's way.
We are waiting on responses to letters we have mailed to eleven MDs in our county, and from our county health department, and from the the State Department of Health.
I have written concerning what we perceive the absence of early treatment of those who already have contracted Covid.
Why not as much attention to therapeutic remedies as that put on vaccines???? Why must everyone end up in the hospital? If they could work so hard on vaccines (which don't block the disease anyway, according to Fauci), why can't they work so hard on early effective treatment of the sick?
We had a pastor and two of his family members just buried from Covid this past week within three miles of my house. They had all been sent home to fight the Covid, with NO therapeutic remedies. They got no treatment until it was already too late, in the hospital.
When I see the "scientists" working as hard on early treatment of the sick, I will perhaps be able to trust the vaccines more."

I don’t have a clue how it works but, why are their no mentions about ‘reported’ RNA tampering in the vaccine’s process ?
Also, have claims about use of fetus sourced material in production been positively proven or disproven ?
If you're "front line", you're no newbie.
You're battle tried and sealed, and have developed immunity.
And you know it.

I agree that it seems unlikely that front line hospital workers in ICUs would be refusing a vaccine at the same time they are seeing the carnage in the ICUs as being reported. Both don't seem to go together well. But then which one is true?
