the rage that went through the crowd seeing her losing life as they wheeled her by was measurable. That rage turned mostly into sorrow and disbelief.
It was a tough thing to stomach. As she was dying, in clearly but surreal thought our Great Country died with her.
It did not take lone at least in the courtyard area for things to dramatically calm to a stupor. Patriots and Leo’s a like.
If not for us being who we were. That is Trump supporters...the place would have burned.
So you were felt that burning it down may have bee a real possibility? Did you feel like that? Even for a moment? If this is too personal let me know. I got to know how it felt on the ground. Only those who were there can say.
Good report. Sounds like we were within 50-100’ of you for the Ellipse rally.
We stayed on the back lawn, maybe 200 feet from the steps. The Capitol Police seemed woefully unprepared. They kept tossing flashbangs and teargas.
Some younger men scaled the scaffolding and stood on top waving flags. They also owned the high ground of the media platform. Eventually one guy made it onto the bleachers that were set up for the inauguration. As he waved a flag, he was gently made to leave by a single female officer. It seemed he went willingly and easily.
As time moved on, the crowd roared “Who’s House? our House” and a few other things. Soon, 50-75 people made their way onto the bleachers. About a dozen police came out and moved them into one section. They seemed to move without much challenge. Many were able to stay for quite a while.
It was an incredibly exuberant crowd/ We were justifiably angry but not rioting. Republicans don’t know how to riot. Not one of us got a big screen TV out of the deal.
While I was some distance away, I didn’t see anyone trying to get in to the building. What I did see was about a million America patriots showing their anger at an illegitimate and stolen election.
At one level Congress should be absolutely terrified of the people. The GOP sold out our liberties for a bowl of oatmeal from tyrants.
no...but like in my account the rage that one gentleman had was extreme. He was not alone by far.
For me there was a brief moment of, okay how best to retaliate? It was quite fleeting as my mind could not reject the realism of it all. I am sure that same process was used my every mind that witnessed it.
She was a true American and is a true American Hero.
The clip from the first person interviewed is the only clipped that needs to be shared.

That young man is so correct. No one but no one stands for We the People. No one.
Tomorrow may have been out shot heard round the world. At the least, America has been irreparable damaged from within and it wasn’t from any of us who were protesting. The damage is from all of the democrats and most of the republicans.

They had photo’s of him at Anitfa protests last night and now today I see that he they are saying he is part of Q Anon so yes, not sure what to believe.

He’s some goofy QAnon guy, but an actual Trump supporter, imo. I watched an interview he gave six months ago, and he had all the Trump talking points about Covid down pat.
