Other way around. Nothing in the Constitution prevents a convicted felon from running for president. But an impeachment conviction prevents him from ever holding office again.

Rush Limbaugh said that the very reason for trying to impeach Trump was to prevent him from running again in 2024. The Dems and RINO's are scared out of their wits of the 74+million ( even 80+million ) Trump supporters.
Don't forget. The only way the Dems were capable of "winning" this election was to cheat and commit voter fraud. And even then the reason they got caught was because Trump's landslide victory was so massive that their "cheating" algorithms and bogus ballots couldn't keep up with it..
It can, or it can be limited to just removal from office. Removal from office and disqualification are evidently two separate Senate votes.
If the Senate has enough votes to impeach then they'll go the extra step and drive a stake through the heart of Trump's 2024 chances. And enjoy doing it.
This sort of thing reminds me of the story of Preston Tucker, who tried to make a safer, more advanced automobile (the Tucker Torpedo).

Impeachment can be done within less than 24 hours if all are on board. 25th Amendment could take about 5 days to nail down ..
The 25th amendment was not meant for this use. Supposedly Pence refused to talk to the hag about it. They don’t have enough time for impeachment.
I agree with you about obama/soetoro/whatever his real name is and heels up harris. My point was that the lefties would love to ban POTUS Trump from running again. They use the Constitution when it suits their purposes, and ignore it when it does not.
The SS have many places for the POTUS. Let's hope that is where he is.
