The U.S. attorney's office in D.C. has opened a federal murder investigation into the death of U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, who died Thursday night after suffering injuries in the violent siege at the Capitol, three law enforcement sources confirmed to ABC News.

Sicknick responded to Wednesday's riots and "was injured while physically engaging with protesters," Capitol Police said in a statement. "He returned to his division office and collapsed."
He was taken to a hospital where he died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.
Sicknick, a 42-year-old military veteran, had worked for the Capitol Police for 12 years, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam said.

Ashli Babbit, not so much, “He had no other choice.”
We won’t forget her!
But the policeman or politician caught on tape murdering an unarmed woman in cold blood gets no mention?
Did he die? Other reports suggest there was no death.
what were his injuries
Is this the man who had the stroke? There was actually an interview with police representatives after they announced his death and a reporter asked if his being hit on the head (apparently, it wasn’t a serious clobber and I’m not even sure he needed treatment at the scene) was connected to the stroke.
The police rep said, “No.”.
But that was then.
Probably get a commendation for protecting the capital from an “Olympia Has Fallen” type attack. Only thing missing was jerry butler.
I heard he stroked out after he got back to the police dept. Aren’t these people required to take routine physical exams and pass physical tests?
+10!
so it wasn’t covid?
Gee, I wonder which nfl assclown will have her name on his helmet? NO ONE
I’m sure there was enough security video to identify the assailant.

this still does not sound like a murder.
media hyperbole again
“Federal murder probe...”
Obviously he’s dead.
Not until the official autopsy report.
Yes.
“Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen said in a statement, “The Department of Justice will spare no resources in investigating and holding accountable those responsible.””
Sounds like they already know who the perps are and are on the way to arrest them.
The only question would be, does DC have the death penalty and fast would the feds convict on sentence them to death.
apparently not much, he returned to his office. It sounds like high BP and he had a stroke. Doesn't sound like murder, but Amerika is upside down.
As soon as they find out antifa was involved they will drop it. Meanwhile, Ashley’s murderer is on paid vacation. Nice country we’ve got.
