Thursday, Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson sounded off on some GOP lawmakers and their staffers saying the riot at the U.S. Capitol this week by President Donald Trump supporters that resulted in multiple deaths was racist. Some Republican officials are even mulling removing Trump from office in the wake of the chaos at the Capitol.
The “Tucker Carlson Tonight” host questioned what was racist about the group of people storming the Capitol Building. He went on to argue the “main problem” in the GOP is that the money class, much like across the country, “sneer” at the lower class.

Just read the stimulus check threads. There are people here that think that people who make less than $70,000 are all drug addicts and welfare recipients.
Is that real?
Yes, like the snide comment yesterday from Anderson Cooper on CNN about the protestors eating at Olive Garden.
For the lower class, that’s a special treat.
For the middle class, that’s a standard restaurant pick.
For the upper class, they wouldn’t be caught dead in Olive Garden.
Yes. Where were you 3 months ago?
Talk about elitism.
Of course it’s race. That’s why they knee-jerk said that storming the Capital building was racist. That’s why so many libs came out to whine that if it had been blacks storming the building, they’d have been treated more harshly. Everything is race with these people. They hate white people, and whites need to wake up to that.
Tucker, on target, fire for effect.
Paging Mr. Obvious
That’s funny. I said that more than 20 years ago. And Tucker Carlson thinks he’s smart? Tucker Carlson has been a quisling all his life. It’s sad because 10 years or more ago people on Free Republic had the guts to call him out for what he was.
They are to them. Unless they share the same class, all they are good for is votes, and small financial donations.
Fox News despises its own viewers.
Why else would they shove Chris Wallace in people’s faces?

You’re speaking for me too. Total agreement. They are no longer the lesser of the two evils. They can redeem themselves but if they don’t, 2022 will be a blood bath for them.
Another thing they have in common with the Democrats.
“Tucker Carlson: GOP Leaders Despise Their Own Voters”
They should know that we feel the same way about them...and what Donald Trump has done that will have a more lasting impact than anything else is that he has removed the cobwebs from in front of the eyes of most Republican voters so that we finally see this. His greatest gift is his nearly infallible talent to force his opponents to reveal in great detail exactly who they are. It should be remembered that his real reason for coming down that escalator is that the Republican politicians had utterly failed to represent us against the Dems or foreigners hostile to us in one way or another. So now they have exacted some measure of revenge by helping the Dems and the Chinese to get rid of him...
...but we are not Trump - Trump is US. We are NOT going away. Now WE are energized and informed (though more work needs to be done on that score, to be sure). The RINOs’ revenge will be short-lived; WE have the final word, and either these corrupt, Deep State RINOs will be successfully primaried or 40 million or more of us will leave the Party for a new one, leaving them twisting in the wind for money and votes the next time they face the public.
SCREW the Republican establishment - speaking for myself and many others with whom I’ve spoken, we hate them a WHOLE lot more than they hate us - especially after the last couple of weeks.
Tucker Carlson: Tucker Carlson Despises His Own ViewersAnother possible headline.
Don't forget: Tucker Carlson defended his right to lie to you on television and call it the truth. Literally. It's the cornerstone of his schtick. He just makes stuff up and calls it "facts" and "truth", and when he was sued for slander, his defense was "my show is entertainment, not journalism, and my viewers know that what I am saying is untrue".
All TV pundits are actors.
It's not race, it's ethics.
Republicans resent that their base holds them to higher standards than the Democrats are held to by their voters.
That puts Republicans in the position of actually having to work for their votes, make promises, and then defend their actions. These are things their Democrat counterparts don't have to do, and the Republicans hate it.
To them, the double standard is not that the MSM let's the Democrats get away with everything, it's their own voters do not.
