Capitol Police isn’t a joke, they can hold back a crowd, this needs to be investigated on who gave that order.
They wouldn’t just let anyone in because they were shouting outside to get in. It doesn’t work that way
Last May I half kiddingly said that I’d still be wearing a mask (bandana actually) long after everyone else had stopped wearing them. That if anyone complained I would shame them for scaring an old man who doesn’t want to die from their diseases.
Hoodie, mask, sunglasses, gloves and anything else to conceal my identity forever more sounds like a good plan to me. If it scares the crap out of people I will mentally pat myself on the back for a job well done.

It is difficult to have sympathy for anyone that rioted. I figure this guy and the others being arrested, regardless of whether they are Antifa or Trump supporters, represent likely less than 0.0001 percent of the Trump supporters in DC on Tuesday. Pelozi fired the Cap. Police Chief and the Sgt. at Arms of the Cap. Police the day after. So, who gives them orders to do what they do on any given day?

There are videos of the capital police directing and opening doors for people.
I image if the videos are true and not doctor a lot of innocent people would have just walk into the capitol following the crowd. Just like herding cows.
Just showing up to a protest will get you fired now. Wear a mask and sun glasses if you do protest.
A person entering the capital was not necessarily rioting. The doors were opened and people went in. A small portion did stupid things. Many were protesting. Peaceful protesting is not new to the capital.
