I had read MREs.
Didn’t they bring their 1 inch thick sleeping pads with them? The Army replaced the old air mattress with them 30 years ago. I’m partly sarcastic with this, but they should have gotten cots for them as part of their deployment prep.

Honestly they don’t need cots. Just get them 20,000 sleeping bags with pillows. More than good enough. They’re soldiers. It’s good if it’s a little rough for a few weeks.

What a bizarre spectacle! Tens of thousands of poorly trained, poorly led, unfit, and poorly supported troops “defending” Congress while napping.
Astoundingly unprofessional. Our adversaries have to be laughing their butts off.
I’m sure they would rather be at home. Same for the cops with the forced overtime. Blame the left. The need another Mayor Daly like in 68’.
The rape of Nanking happened after Japanese troops had been fighting non-stop for 3 years. They lost all control over them and they went wild. Add the hatred they felt for their enemies and the same could happen here.
They’ve got more troops stationed in the Nation’s Capitol than they did when the Civil War broke out, and the Confederacy was just across the way in Alexandria, Va.
AOC could at least give a few pole dancing performances for the troops. Come on man.
