You know how they are vetting national guard to protect Biden from harm?
In my paranoid mind I wonder if there is a sinister plan under way.
What if leftists orchestrate the assassination of Biden during the inauguration, making it look like a right wing insurrection attack?
Then Kamala is president day one.
This horrendous act would then justify a Martial law lockdown of the entire country.
To quell any support for the insurrection the Harris Administration would need to arrest conservative leaders in the media and government.
A Complete black out of any free speech during the crisis would be necessary of course.
Then to kick start the economy she could initiate stimulus project by building 100s of re-education camps.

The timing of her resignation must have been planned to deprive Californians of an opportunity to vote for her replacement at a special election. Harris would not want to put the Democratic Senate majority at risk by letting the people vote.

There is no special election to replace a resigning Senator in California. The Governor appoints a replacement, which in this case is Alex Padilla.
I’m just surprised she didn’t want to hold on to it so
she could be addressed as Vice President/Senator and have
two votes in the Senate.
