FBI feared foreign power was targeting money to Clinton before 2016 campaign, memos show

Bureau delayed FISA warrant and instead gave candidate defensive briefing, in stark contrast to Trump, declassified memos show.

FBI agents opened an investigation in late 2014 into a foreign power's effort to curry influence with Hillary Clinton's prospective presidential campaign through donations, but the bureau's leadership slow-walked a surveillance warrant and instead arranged for the candidate to get a defensive briefing, newly declassified memos show.

FBI agents became so frustrated that they were being stonewalled from securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant to investigate the foreign money plot that they even escalated to then-FBI Director James Comey, according to the memos declassified by President Trump on Tuesday night and obtained by Just the News.

"The FISA application has remained in limbo for the last four months, even though subsequent investigative activity by [redacted] provided additional probable cause for the FISA application," an FBI employee wrote Comey in an April 14, 2015 email in which he expressed concern he was "overstepping" his chain of command by raising his concerns.

That email stated the FBI field office leading the probe was "still uncertain as to why the application has not been sent to DOJ for final approval although several reasons have been put forth by CD [Criminal Division], most recently that the decision to put the application on hold originated 'on the seventh floor.'"

Democratic fundraiser is a fugitive in plain sight

By CHUCK NEUBAUER AND ROBIN FIELDS
AUG. 29, 2007

WASHINGTON — For the last 15 years, California authorities have been trying to figure out what happened to a businessman named Norman Hsu, who pleaded no contest to grand theft, agreed to serve up to three years in prison and then seemed to vanish.
“He is a fugitive,” Ronald Smetana, who handled the case for the state attorney general, said in an interview. “Do you know where he is?”

Hsu, it seems, has been hiding in plain sight, at least for the last three years.

Since 2004, one Norman Hsu has been carving out a prominent place of honor among Democratic fundraisers. He has funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions into party coffers, much of it earmarked for presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York.

“One example of the kind of first-time donors Hsu has worked with is the Paw family of Daly City, Calif., which is headed by William Paw, a mail carrier, and his wife, Alice, who is listed as a homemaker.

The Paws — seven adults, most of whom live together in a small house near San Francisco International Airport — apparently had never donated to national candidates until 2004. Over a three-year period, they gave $213,000, including $55,000 to Clinton and $14,000 to candidates for state-level offices in New York.

The family includes a son, Winkle Paw, who Barcella said was in business with Hsu. Another son works for a Bay Area school board, while one daughter works for a hospital and another for a computer company.”

Two Hillary Clinton Donors Indicted for Funneling Illegal Cash to 2016 Campaigns
BY RICK MORAN DEC 04, 2019 9:41 AM ET

Two Lebanese-American businessmen have been indicted for their role in a scheme to funnel $3.5 million in illegal campaign contributions to political campaigns in 2016.

George Nader, who was a key witness in the investigation by Robert Mueller of collusion by the Trump campaign with Russia in 2016, and Ahmad “Andy” Khawaja, CEO of online payment processing company Allied Wallet, were indicted for conspiring to conceal a $3.5 million contribution from Nader by making them in the name of Khawaja, his wife and his company, Allied Wallet Inc.

Although the 53-count indictment does not specify the 2016 candidate involved, campaign finance records indicate it was Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

“The other charges in the indictment allege Khawaja and six associates — Roy Boulos, Rudy Dekermenjian, Mohammad “Moe” Diab, Rani El-Saadi, Stevan Hill, and Thayne Whipple — conspired to conceal executive contributions, totaling more than $1.8 million, to various political committees in 2016 through 2018. “Among other things, these contributions allegedly allowed Khawaja to host a private fundraiser for a presidential candidate in 2016 and a private fundraising dinner for an elected official in 2018,” Benczkowski and Slater said.

Khawaja is also charged with obstructing the grand jury investigation in the summer by providing a witness called to testify in the case with false information about Nader and his connection to Khawaja’s company, while four of his associates are charged with obstruction by lying to the FBI.

And the Haitians thought the Clinton Crime Family Foundation relief fund for Haiti, that they might benefit in someway. Not the case. Chelseas wedding dress, Hillarys yoga pants and a vacation or two and poof! millions of dollars gone.

Does this have anything to do with the Hildabeast's Pay to Play scheme, run through the Clinton Crime Family Foundation?

Yeah, we know about that.

Good grief! It seems like each and every day reveals more evidence of the corruption that permeates the FBI. Talk about crooked cops!

Not one whistle blower amongst you all? Not one? You mean none of the so called good hard working 99% of agents within the bureau saw anything corrupt over the last decade?

Yea...right. Y'all closed ranks to protect one another. That makes you complicit.

***Bureau delayed FISA warrant and instead gave candidate defensive briefing, in stark contrast to Trump, declassified memos show***

As of this almost end-of-the-week day it seems reasonable to speculate if this is the start and end of DECLASS. We were originally told the whole stack of docs would be declassified and released by last Friday, this past Monday at the latest. Wednesday John Solomon said he was working hard to find out about the remaining docs and get them released.

I posted last week that it appears DECLASS is dead; I took a bunch of flack for that statement. Now the mounting evidence is proving me right. Note that Christopher Wray has just been confirmed to continue as FBI Director. John Solomon, Tom Fitton, Sara Carter, as well as Cong. Jim Jordan and Devin Nunes will state definitely that Wray appears to have blocked production of documents, even those under subpoena.

The Deep State has delivered another kick to Donald Trump's shins. Trump waited to the last minute intending this as a parting blow to the DS; the DS appears to have emerged victorious. Let us see what John Solomon says when he re-emerges.

DCLAS deadlines appear to work as leverage (a stick/ a carrot/ and as bait). I believe delays are intentional and negotiations flow when the stick/carrot/bait is waved at strategic times. I didn’t believe we would see the Docs on the date/week specified. The DS is losing without DCLAS thus far, in my opinion it’s just one of many “arrows in the quiver”.
Just my 2.
