Taking a cue from the Beatles song “Get Back”, all those JoJos should leave their homes “in Tucson, Arizona for some California grass”.
I’m a MO geezer so I got my 1st shot yesterday. Have a geezer friend in California who says they don’t get theirs for a least a month. From what I’ve read in CA the vaccine priority is ‘equity’.
Many medical workers here have recently gotten second shot.

A month-long wait for people in the 1-A category suggests incompetence at the state and/or local level. Georgia has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country, so far. But once you get through the dysfunctional websites or the lengthy hold times on the phone, appointments for 1-A people are about seven to ten days out.

It looks like that will be reasonably easy, the way things are already set up. It will happen, as long as they don’t interfere too much, with what is already contracted and funded.
We seem to be cracking over a million per day now, and still accelerating. When Johnson & Johnson gets approved and starts delivering (their single shot vaccine) next month, the rate should jump even more.
It is pretty well baked into the cake already, even with just the existing Defense Production Act contracts to Phizer and Moderna. They are behind on their contracted deliveries, and should surge to catch up at some point. We are likely to surpass a peak rate 2 million per day.

There are only about 1.3 million residents in US Nursing Homes (plus staff).
Assuming 1:1 ratio of staff to residents, that would be about 2.6 million people, requiring roughly 5 million doses. About that many doses have been delivered already, dedicated for that purpose.
2.3 million shots have been administered, so most have probably already gotten their first shot.
At 200,000 Nursing Home shots per day, the three-four week delay (Phizer or Moderna) between doses will likely be the biggest constraint on finishing up the Nursing Homes.
A week after the first shot, significant immunity is already developing (about 50%, plus protection from serious disease, even if they do get symptoms).
Sounds good.
It should be over in a month For the most part.
This is ONE flu you can't count on—for "herd immunity".
It's spelled Pfizer, and pronounced with the 'f' in Pfizer, not the 'h' in Phizer.
