The FBI (or rather the DOJ) is America’s KGB, and I don’t mean that as a cheap slur.
The KGB was a vast intelligence, law enforcement and political bureaucracy. It was the political brain and nerve center of the Soviet Government. Nothing happened which didn’t pass through them. They were tasked with monitoring all trends, threats and potential shocks to the state, foreign and domestic - and that included monitoring and controlling Russia’s own politicians. They of course focused on maintaining their own power.
To expect the FBI to investigate to see if “laws were broken” is an extremely naive and childish view compared to their actual role.
We should have known the FBI was corrupt way back in the Clinton years when they wanted to handle islamic terrorism as “criminal matters” not national security threats.
The Democrats knew the FBI could control the outcome of any islamic investigation ensuring there was a continuous flow of money from terrorist states into the DNC.
Under Obama, all the islamic attacks inside the US were perpetrated by those on the FBI radar.
