A grieving mother whose son took his own life last year is suing Illinois Gov J.B. Pritzker for canceling winter high school sports during the COVID-19 pandemic, a move she claims contributed to the student athlete’s death.

Lisa Moore went on Fox News’ “The Faulkner Focus” Thursday to rip Pritzker’s strict mandate she believes killed her 18-year-old son Trevor Till, who died by suicide in October.

“My son died because of COVID isolation,” Moore said. “He truly enjoyed being at school. That’s where his heart and soul was.”

Perhaps, but how is he responsible for this kid’s death? Shyster lawyer convinced mom she has a case. Hope he took it on contingent fee basis, in which case he’ll get nothing when the case gets summarily dismissed.

Knowing how some families can be, school is a very real escape for some kids. I can only imagine the horror what some of these family situations must be after one year cooped up together.

For sure. I saw one mother of a football player with the same tale. Tragic, but she only "realized" it was because of the Corona shutdown at the young man's funeral when she felt all the love from his friends. Plus, there were depression and drug issues from way back.... it was hard to watch.

As much as I’d like this Mother success in her legal actions against an out of control governor,I don’t think that the Judiciary of the State of Illinois is going to see things her way as government officials are usually protected from civil actions because of sovereign immunity.

I sincerely Hope she wins though.This crap has to stop.

While I’ve heard of some stupid assed lawsuits, this one ranks up there near the pinnacle of stupid.
