Democrats are moving quickly to lay the groundwork for passing additional coronavirus relief, with or without help from Republicans.
The push comes as Democrats are under pressure to go big amid new data showing the economy shrank 3.5 percent last year with stubbornly high levels of unemployment persisting into 2021.
Democrats can muscle through a budget resolution, the first step for a coronavirus relief bill, with a simple majority in the House and Senate. Under a plan crystallizing on Capitol Hill, they are hoping to pass it through both chambers next week.

Go big? How about--rather than spend trillions we don't have--how about you just get the country opened up again? Get the country opened up is about the biggest thing that anyone could do to get the economy on track again.

When Harris votes to break the tie, a new Senator should rise and object to her vote on the grounds she is unqualified to serve as VP and cast a tie-breaking vote due to a conflict with Senate Resolution 511 from 2007. That resolution stated Senator John McCain was “... born of American citizen parents on a US Military base” and was therefore a Natural Born (US) Citizen meeting the Constitutional requirements thereof.
Ms Harris was born of parents who were citizens of different foreign countries. She is unqualified to serve as POTUS or VP.
No Duh. At least that much. Just wait until the Democrat states find out there economies. One, two punch, COVID and the RIOTS.
