Jim Jordan or Devin Nunes. Either works for me.

McCarthy is really in an interesting position. If he were smart and did the right things over the next months, he could actually make some bold moves that would help Trump to energize the base for 2022. It means turning away a lot of money that goes bye bye with the GOPe. We will see very soon how this turns.

If Cheney loses her seniority then that's one less reason for Wyoming voters to support her.

I think a lot of the dead wood in Congress is there because the folks back home want to keep them there until they move far enough up the food chain to send money back to their states or districts.

She needs to be made an example of what happens when you cross 75 million voters.

TOO LITTLE too late.
Repulse are done unless they declare the 2020 election unconstitutional and kick out the third world CCP run regime now occupying the WhiteHut.

She should resign now.
Her voters no longer trust her.
Maybe MSNBC is hiring...

Get her out of leadership and in 2 years, out of office entirely.

We need to hunt down every one of the 10.

"Multiple GOP aides on Capitol Hill told The Federalist a vote on Cheney’s role in leadership is likely to come on Wednesday".

Tune in tomorrow!

The article didn't mention this, but Lizzie Borden Cheney is basically a "Diversity Hire".

For close to a decade now, the GOP has designated the GOP Conference Chair position be held by a female. Her predecessor, also female, stepped down from the job right after the disastrous 2018 mid-term election.

The GOP felt they had to compete with the Dems for the soccer mom's votes. And giving that job to a man would mean that the top House GOP leadership was all-male, as compared to the Dem's top House leader Pelosi who has the correct chromosomes, and that would be bad "optics" for the GOP to go all-male at that point.

Cheney was vying hard for the job already, and she had the correct XX chromosomes and the Cheney family name. That name was a net positive in GOP circles, from the 1990s up until 2 weeks ago.

Bingo! That’s been my opinion for a long time. The more seniority your Congress critter has, the more clout they have and that translates to cash for your district. It’s a system that encourages incumbency. What incentive do Pelosi’s constituents have to replace her, for example?

Representatives represent their district, not themselves. That’s like saying one district has more power and importance than another and it shouldn’t be that way.

Quote:
“The fate of Cheney’s chairmanship over the GOP conference rests largely on House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who wields the power to approve or deny a referendum to replace Cheney, swelling support for which has applied pressure on the top Republican in the House to greenlight a vote, likely through secret ballot. Members of the conference have asked for the chance to give an ‘up-or-down’
vote on Cheney’s role in leadership. Cheney is reportedly fighting such a vote.”

This woman will be primaried, IMO. Hopefully, her constituents are fed up with her.

The fact that sh!t canning Liz Chicanery is a big deal is a big deal.

I think that both sides of aisle spend years grooming and placing one of their adrenocrhome sipping own for future leadership, and are quite happy to destroy anybody who gets in the way, even if it costs the party they so fraudulently represent seats.

She is a big investment on the part of the deep state, just as homobama was.

I only hope that her primary challenger, who at this point is running double digits ahead of her, doesn't get sandbagged by the WhiGOP recruiting every yahoo in WY to run as well, thus splitting the Conservative side.

President Trump needs to vet this primary challenger and give him his political blessing early and often.

The Donald ridiculed Dick Cheney and thus Liz has a mad on for The Donald.
Dick pushed the worthless second Iraq war and The Donald says it was a foolish move.
One of my nephews died in Fallujah for NO damned reason.
Hey Lizzy your old man was ignorant.

“Sadly, we need him. (Romney)”

You’re going over the head of many people here with that comment. You sound, almost, as though you prefer that the Democrats to NOT run everything in DC...which many here think is no worse than when Republicans ran things.

Because if we all thought like you, we also would have won the Georgia Senate seats (instead 500,000 Republicans stayed home there...more than enough to outnumber the Dem cheating machine).
