Well, it’s a VOX property, so this is to be expected. I still am confounded by the glee that the hard left exhibits with enthusiasm for the Covid fear porn, and their love of economic destruction.
I get the political strategy that the left pushed during the campaign, but what I don’t understand is the cultural embrace that ordinary people in San Francisco have for exaggerating the risks of the ‘Rona and loving the lockdown. Makes no sense to me at all.

As for the "why", IMHO it is due to several (probably 4) decades of government schools acting as communist propaganda agents with the goal to destroy the American dream with a socialist fantasy...
