We have no idea where the first outbreak was and probably never will.
As much asymptomatic/mild disease as this virus causes there's no reason to think the initial infection took place anywhere close to where it was first identified as a new virus.
Looks like those first class plane tickets, five star hotels and chinese prostitutes paid off for china.
And, of course, the US media is following the party line and reporting the BS.

And why can they single it out to a city that just happens to house the largest and newest bio weapons lab in China? And China develops all kinds of little bundles of joy as they are the largest seller of bio weapons in the world with their main buyers in Iran. Accident? Where there’s smoke...and a reason for someone to light the match... Largest third world nation, politically, in the world cause they don’t care who gets killed. They just figure they have enough people that when the smoke clears, some of them will be left. Hopefully, someday they will evolve into something closer to Homo sapiens.

Most people believe experts; experts who now think according to evil ideologies. And ideologies = religion = deciding what is good or bad.
