Mothers Against Drunk Driving has expressed outrage over the fact that Bruce Springsteen’s drunk driving arrest in November wasn’t revealed until after the rock star’s Super Bowl commercial for Jeep aired on Sunday.
The advocacy group blasted New Jersey authorities in a statement on Wednesday, saying that victims of drunk driving “deserve better.”
“Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is outraged to learn that Bruce Springsteen was arrested three months ago for drunk and reckless driving,” said Alex Otte, MADD National President, in a statement to Breitbart News. “The fact that this arrest was not revealed by authorities in New Jersey until after Springsteen’s appearance driving a Jeep in a high-priced Super Bowl commercial is infuriating.”

To his credit, he uses no drugs, including Marijuana.

Naturally the next step is to allow them to shave and shower together.....
I realize I am ‘guilty’ but this is a product of having members on school boards etc that don’t have any kids in school.
How many fathers of teen age girls would allow this if they were on the various school boards?
I realize that they (like ME before them) had things to do like work and maintain a household while raising their family and left the ‘politicking’ to ‘others’

The location of the incident complicated things. The case was filed in Federal court because he was busted at Sandy Hook, which is part of the Gateway National Recreation Area.
MADD’s public comments are going to look silly when the DUI charges are dropped. A report posted late yesterday indicated that Springsteen’s BAC was only 0.02%, which isn’t even close to the legal limit for intoxication in any U.S. state.
So “the Boss” was basically just trespassing at Sandy Hook and driving like a jackass.
