Doesn’t anyone plan for emergencies anymore?

I like others wonder about the water. My little town in California has two water tower. Sure it takes electricity to pump the water up into the tower but the water distribution is by gravity. I don’t think cold weather affects gravity (but then cold weather does cause people to fall a lot).

Fewer and fewer.

And Deep State likes it that way.

Folks who wait for big government to save them, may or may not deserve what they'll get. But they'll still get it.

Screwed.

....well possibly not, as I am 35 miles northwest of the Capitol in Austin ... and One mile from the local water tower and have had NO water since Monday with a boil alert and no timeframe for restoring any flow. Same for next door in Georgetown and senior living Sun City.

Maybe the heaters that keep the pipes from freezing went out. That’s all I can figure.
