Lived in COLD WORLD once and the first thing you did in this scenario was turn the water off, open all the lowest point faucets to drain pipes on outer walls, up in attic/roof spaces, that could freeze.
I did that with my camper.

Great advice on uninhabited homes but not one you want to flush toilets. People have been using snow and ice to flush.
Knock on wood. When this is over, I’ll have to make sure the septic is electrically pumping up hill. Before the authorities told us to buy extra land and install a whole new $$$ septic that runs up the street and onto another street, it flowed for free by gravity down hill to similar tank that’s official approved.
