Joel Gilbert has produced a superb work of investigative journalism. If the old media were not complicit in the hoax, this would be front-page news across the nation. A travesty of justice was perpetrated against George Zimmerman. The two-hour documentary shows how and why it was done.
Full disclosure: This correspondent has written extensively on the Trayvon Martin – George Zimmerman case. I was one of the first to defend George Zimmerman, to declare the case was being used for political purposes. AmmoLand News has also reported in depth on the event with in-person interviews.
Joel Gilbert’s documentary and investigative work are convincing evidence of how the fraud on the court was created, propagated, and promoted for political and financial gain.
Gilbert started his investigation with a desire to document how a far-left, radical mayor, with significant corruption problems, came within a squeak of being elected as the Governor of Florida in 2018. As he looked into the politics of the election, it became clear candidate Andrew Gillum used false perceptions about the Trayvon Martin – George Zimmerman case, fostered and promoted by the Media, to promote his candidacy. Gillum, who has since been involved in more scandals, came shockingly close to winning.
Joel Gilbert decided he needed to know more about the Trayvon Martin – George Zimmerman case. He was able to meet with and interview George Zimmerman. He obtained the entire phone log for Trayvon Martin.
Joel Gilbert does a brilliant job. If you have done investigative work, his competence stands out. He illustrates that 99% of genius is hard work.
The investigative work, clarity of the evidence, and thoroughness of the multiple lines of investigation pursued are superb. This is what serious, well done investigative journalism is and should be.

Some time ago Chris Rock did a great video called "How Not To Get Your A$$ Kicked By The Police".It was still on youtube recently...don't know if they've taken it down. He also did a great piece in a concert once that is called "I Love Black People,But I Hate Niggaz".
I wonder if he still stands by them.

You only needed to watch the trial to see what a farce it was. The prosecution was exposed as fraudulent during every phase of the trial.

Zimmerman - portrayed as a racist white man when he was actually a Latino... I seem to remember that George Z also had one black great-grandfather.
Why didn’t Brittany Diamond Eugene live with her biological mother? How was she connected to the woman who texted about Diamond, referring to her as her daughter?
Secondly, would it have made any difference if Brittany Diamond, rather than her half-sister, had testified? George Z got off because of gun shot forensics, not Rachel’s testimony.

To question 1. I do not know, but it may be worthy of discovery and investigation.
to question 2. Brittany Diamond would not testify, most likely, because she was not willing to perjure herself, thereby subjecting herself to prosecution.
Also, if she were to testify it would have opened her up to cross examination. Her duplicity about her sexual relationships would have become apparent.
Her dumping of Trayvon, just before he attacked Zimmerman, would have become apparent.
Her relationships with Crump, Matt Gutman, and Sabrina Martin would have been exposed. She very likely would be the key to unraveling the plot to make the Trayvon case into a campaign to activate the Black community for a second term of President Obama.
Without the "girlfriend" testimony, there was no case against Zimmerman.
The choice was to take a chance with Rachel Eugene, or essentially fold.
The conspirators had to promote a false witness to protect their lies.
But Rachel was so flawed. How come the defense didn’t tear into her mumbling inconsistencies? Rachel was functionally illiterate and couldn’t have texted squat to anybody. Surely a lawyer could see that she was being led by the prosecutors and Crump, in the deposition if not the oral testimony in court. Why no objections to make her clean up her perjury?
Her inconsistencies, IMHO, were a large part of what swayed to jurors to acquit.
The defense attorneys did not need to do more, and they always were at risk of appearing to attack an obviously struggling "witness".
There is video of Rachel, attempting to confess her role to prosecution interviewers.
The interviewers would not listen.
Remember the whole establishment was invested in finding Zimmerman guilty, mostly because of fear of the Media and of being called "racist".
Joel shows, with his investigation and evidence, the conspiracy and the willingness to lie to the court.
