A review of Capitol security after the Jan. 6 riots is going to recommend adding more fencing around the building, as well as more than 1,000 Capitol Police officers, two sources with direct knowledge of the findings told CNN.
The draft proposal of recommendations comes just over a month after Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) tapped retired Lt. General Russel Honoré to review security around the Capitol in the wake of a mob of former President Trump’s supporters laying siege to the building in an attempt to prevent the certification of President Biden’s Electoral College victory.
At the time, Pelosi said Honoré’s review was to focus on “security infrastructure, interagency processes and procedures, and command and control.”
The additional 1,000 personnel, which could cost nearly $100 million, would include roughly 350 officers and expanded staffing in regional offices for when lawmakers are at home, one of the sources told CNN.
The network reported that the recommendations also include establishing a quick reaction force composed of a National Guard military police battalion that’s on standby in Washington full-time.
And the report advises long-term security changes to perimeter security, including building an integrated system of walls and fences around the complex.

I got into an argument with a liberal if you days ago who said the capital fence and police force/national guard deployment was totally different than the border wall And CBP Officers. Their “justification” was that the capital fence is visible at all times 24/7 by officers and or cameras wall every inch of the border wall is not.
$100 million / 1000 = $100,000 per new job. Why not $15 per hour?
You need double fencing. If you get caught between between the two fences it’s a kill zone. Make the Mall, all the way from the capitol to the Lincoln Memorial, a free fire zone. Modify the Washington Monument making it a giant gun tower. Add a four ring deep barrier of claymores aroud the capitol. Charge tourists to run this obstacle course.

Secret Service now has 1000 feet of the street each way blocked off, you can’t get close enough to the place to take a picture. A reporter tried. Stopped by secret service squad. Can’t get within 1000 feet of the place.
1st thing he did was have it remodeled, and a 6 or 8 foot stone wall built. Video showed masons putting stones in place. Either Fox or Newsmax, I can’t remember which, maybe both. Fox hadn’t hired Paul Ryan yet so they’d cover this kind of thing. Last time I tried, I wanted pictures, couldn’t find a word, except the article about the reporter being blocked by secret service only picture he got was them blocking the road.

Both live behind stone walls, zuckerburg’s neighbors had a lawsuit going against him because the stone wall he built around his mansion in hawaii blocked their view of the ocean they had enjoyed for many years. Hillary has an 8 foot stone wall around her place in new yawk, with guard shacks for secret service.

This might work .... wall them in, close the airport and allow nobody in and nobody out. Use our armed guards to enforce. They wants walls .... why not give them walls ?
I went mainly to look around and to buy something at his campaign store (I bought a "Veterans For Trump" t-shirt).
When you entered there was Secret Service all over the place...in uniform and in plain clothes...and there were many hallways,etc that had big signs that said something like "No Entry" and the Secret Service seal on the bottom (or top...can't recall for sure).
Bottom line...there was clearly security all over the place but not nearly as much as you describe for Osama Obama. And Trump was,at the time,a *sitting* President while Osama is a has-been nobody!
There's no way that anyone can convince me that Osama Obama gets more death threats...or more *credible* death threats...than does President Trump so Osama must be receiving "affirmative action" protection while Trump gets "white men bad" protection.
Those two pics right there should be an outright total anathema to any freedom-loving American. All brought to us by fraudulent, communist, American-hating democrats.
