Well, Obama was tight with them. So was GWB, tried to force Egypt to allow the Brotherhood in elections. Egypt refused, Obama succeeded with poor results. And GWB was responsible for Hamas participating in palestinian elections over Israel’s strong objections and milder objection from Fatah. So yes, I’d guess there are longstanding relations on the part of government agencies with terror organizations. If one prefers, foreign political parties and revolutionaries.
