Mission accomplished. Why keep this thing around?
McConnell knows the beat down will be brutal and nonstop. Plus endless embarrassment as his chosen one’s go down to defeat after defeat.
So is the solution to stop voting? Apparently our side thinks so.
The chicom masters feem him useless now, so perhaps his chicom wife has slipped a radiation pellet under his seat or pillow and he is on his way out. Watch for her travel plans in the future ...
Well yes. There’s that!
But everyone likes to pretend it hasn’t happened.
Term limits sound good but just look anywhere they have been tried and you find they utterly fail to produce the desired result.
...but when Federal Gov./law enforcement agencies start to echo that sentiment...we have a problem, we have a BIG problem.
These people need to be "purged".
...before they do the same to us.
BINGO !!!
This is why the 17th Amendment should be repealed !
The state legislatures couldn’t do worse ! Every state legislator in their narcisstic heart-of-hearts can see themselves in the senate chair. With that working in the background I think you’d have more turnover.
Ok, a vote only counts when counted properly, and it must be legal.
Tell me, what is the point when the vote count is totally corrupted?
It is disgusting.
I am tired of being played, by both sides!!!!!!!
No mas.
Well, there is always the Golden Gate Bridge or closer to his office, the Empire State Building. Happy landings, Turtle!
Patient Stone cold anger. Appropriate for this Cold War. Just like the last with the USSR, We Win.
“...who appoints whomever finishes out the term?”
You have your choice of three alternatives: vote, give up and let the Dems win, or riot. Which do you choose?
Nah. They just getting ready to retire to their 35,000 sq ft home on a 200 acre plot in a picturesque part of mainland China so the wife can be close to her family.
“Mitch McConnell might be on his way out and seeking someone to replace him”
Where is he going to find someone with no moral convictions and no loyalty to anyone but himself, so they are qualified to replace McConnell?
I mean, any Democrat could satisfy requirement #1, but they are at least loyal to their own party, so they would fail requirement #2...
The Framers imagined that the state legislatures would never send the same person back for 30 years.
The 17th amendment changed all that.
In the 18th century, the founders never imagined that members of Congress would want to stay very long. Washington DC was quite literally a swamp. The mosquitos and other vermin would ensure that Congressmen would go home when not in session, and with the summer heat, they'd be glad to get out of the city at every opportunity, to go home and (hopefully) be back with their constituents. Finally, they'd be motivated to be out of there at the end of their term.
Air conditioning changed that also.
A few decades too damn late.
Travel times meant you were either there for the duration or home for a long period of time before going back.
