You don’t get the inherent hypocrisy?

Leftists are the ones who promote the GlobalClimateWarmingChange hoax and leftists are primarily the ones who supported legalizing cannabis.

“Flowers, plants and vegetables” are not specifically favored by any particular political partisans that I’m aware of.

Leftists who plot America's loss of Constitutional Rights are quick to arrange a Marijuana issue on each ballot; hugely inflating the poisonous effects from America's Dopers.

America's Dopers, Felons-voting, Death Row inmates, mail-in voting, "ranked-choice" voting, ballot-harvesting, and no-ID issues will vote their toxic interests--which are definitely NOT mine!

was skeptical but am now completely sold on the benefits.

All anecdotal, it seems, But had several staunch anti- druggers whose grown adult children found sources for oral use and each ( seven, that i know of) had remakable pain relief, Parkinson’s relief, for several years until they passed, as comfortable as could be until the end.
Remarkable for chronic hip pain. Can walk, can touch my toes.

There are many indoor grow farms for all kinds of flowers, plants, and vegetables. Why pick on marijuana? Not much of a story here

Because customers don't convert flowers, plants, and vegetables to smoke?

The CO2 emissions cited in the article are from the growing - which all plants do - not the smoking. Learn to read.

GOP legislators could defuse that by passing legalization bills - but too many of them fear the political wrath of the Reefer Madness frothers.

Stupid to grow indoors when the sunshine is right outside.

As usual, government is the problem - in this case egged on by Reefer Madness frothers:

"growing cannabis in outdoor greenhouses would both lower energy requirements and shrink the carbon footprint.

"But it means changing laws"

The legalization of drugs is what has fueled the rise of the crazy left.

So the crazy left started its rise only in 2014 when the first state (Colorado) legalized marijuana? Seems to me FR has been noting leftist craziness since well before 2014.

It's not leftist craziness any more.

It's Communism!

Which no longer has any leverage in Colorado since there's nothing left to lobby for on that issue.

A successful petition to add a Marijuana emblem to the Colorado state flag would drag Colorado's Dopers into the voting booth.

When you add their few votes to Colorado's ballots for a Commie Governor, it may be enough to tilt the scale.
