Perhaps I’m an archaic, conservative Neanderthal, but I believe the Defense Department’s job can be boiled to three objectives. First, waging war. Second, planning to wage war. Third, being good enough at waging war and planning to wage war that you never have to wage it.
That’s why a March 9 memo from Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin concerned me. Even though our defense budget is a large one, we still have a limited pool of resources to draw from. Once any budget is set, if you invest money, time, energy or other resources into one thing, it must be taken from another. There are things in life that are zero-sum games — and once budgets and long-term objectives are set at the Pentagon, shuffling the deck doesn’t come without costs or benefits.
This is something we need to understand when the Biden administration labels climate change a national security threat and establishes a working group at its highest levels to deal with the president’s executive orders on the environment: This isn’t just a matter of buying a few Prius plug-ins for administrative transports. This is something that’ll likely have repercussions beyond a few nice-sounding news releases and a bit of green PR work.

First: social justice issues; Second: women as front line combat troop; Third: free sex change operations; Fourth: fighting climate change; Fifth: justifying larger budget to meet growing demands and mission creep; Sixth: Practice various surrender scenarios.

This policy isn’t based on reason, science, logic or even just cautious policy. It’s nothing more than a power grab for the elitists who continue to fly in private jets that pollute and buy up expensive beach front property that will supposedly be under water very shortly.
Our weather is perfect today and has been for a long time. All this ginned up hysteria over the weather is like living in the era of the Salem witch trials. The super rich globalist will do anything for control this planet and every single person on it. Of course, most of them will need to be eliminated to save the planet....It’s like a bad superman movie.
Wonder what they’ll charge the Navy for “Green” fuel this time?
is the Navy still burning that liquid gold “Bio-Green” fuel that’s almost as expensive?
Apart from its effect on our military, I’m afraid what restrictions on OUR freedoms and lifestyles they will try to impose based on this supposed “emergency.”
And our science challenged Dorkbama chosen milquetoast Chiefs of Staff will bend over and kiss butts.
I used to respect the military I was in.
Perhaps will respect it in the future, but right now?
