Elton John, as a british noble, is under the purview of The Church of England. Is he showing public intolerance for an alternate religion? Has he ever blasted Islam for also refusing to bless homosexual ‘marriages’? Or Buddhism? Or Judaism? So he’s selective in his outrage, making him a hypocrite who should have reserved his comments rather than look a fool.
Do you suppose he ever considered giving the money back? Or maybe donating it to the Sisters of Life, if he didn't feel the movie was a good match for the donor?
There I go, assuming maturity and good will on his part, instead of gossipy self-promotion. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
