I call it the 1/5 Flu.
I get a flu shot each year. I’m not leaping to get one of these vaccines, but not hardset opposed to it. I want more time to pass.
The death count is declining, but the rate of decline is not increasing . . . and it SHOULD if the vaccines were powerful. It established its current rate of decline before any vaccines were widely available in early January and that rate . . . the slope of the curve is not increasing.
I think the testing of all but the J&J vaccine was done before the mutations were widespread. And there are more mutations weekly.
I know the theory is get the vaccine ASAP to prevent mutations, but this doesn’t really work if a mutation already existing can evade the vaccine and produce more mutations.
Anyway, I’d like to see more time.
