The Guard guys you’re seeing in DC are more than likely the ones that are single, no kids and making more money while an E4, standing in front of the Capitol, than whatever they do back home.
Some may actually believe the BS but that will wane or is waning over time.
So in the future you’ll start to see the numbers dwindle. US Dept of Labor study shows that every year fewer and fewer folks join the military or become some type of first responder.
I’m betting a lot of these guys are just waiting to go home so they can turn in their gear and get out. Unlike the active Army, getting out of the Guard isn’t that hard.

All I know is I know 6 young people- all Caucasain, Christian, hard working good students could not get into our military. Five were male, one was female. All of them got the run around, had recruiting meetings canceled or the recruiter just didn’t show up, errors put on their medical files and not changed, etc. None of them entered the military. All six of them wanted to serve. I know 3 gang bangers who are barely literate who had no problems signing up. What’s going on here...

They instituted the disastrous policy of unrestricted submarine warfare that led America to enter the war. Lessons learned: The military, regardless of nation, should be held on a short leash.

It looks like a Guam rep took some Guam National Guard over to I guess Marjorie Taylor Greene’s office to prove Guam is a US territory. I think this is much ado about nothing.

The Congressman was just being obnoxious. The Guard men had a duty to not obey some random Congressman to be used in such a manner. In the old American military, you would face disciplinary action for such an act.
Every national guardsmen in DC has been vetted to ensure they are willing to shoot US citizens.

No they are not. I have listened to two alternative journalists who went to DC during the faux inauguration week and walked around and spoke with guardsmen. When asked point blank the guardsmen said they were there to protect the constitution and the people not Pelosi and congress.
