It hadn't occurred to me before, but yes: members of our active duty Armed Forces have always carefully stayed out of civilian politics - to the point that, during the Carter administration, we were told not to wear our uniforms outside the Pentagon for fear of enflaming the civilians and stoking their antimilitary passions.

We need this current set of military incompetents to be fired - and our real President back in the White House.
