I live in NYS.
Last 4th everything was cancelled everywhere.
You know what happened?
Illegal fireworks galore in my neck of the woods.
Sat outside in the front yard and enjoyed the heck out if it.
It went on for hours.
The neighbors knew how to have some fun along with the display of patriotism. :)
