Well, I should hope that they are totally dead. If they were half dead and got buried that would be awkward.
I’ve been on FR for going on 20 years now, and I did something that I have never done before. Over the years, I’ve had some pretty over the top replies from other FReepers to comments I’ve made; stuff that was out of line. I’ve never reported anything, because honestly I’ve done the same thing to others. FR is a free and open forum, I am a big boy, and that kind of stuff is to be expected. Well, this morning I hit the “Report Abuse” button on Kozak’s post. The reason I gave was “ Statistics without context meant to mislead FR readers”. Now, I don’t think Kozak should be banned from posting his daily dancing on the grave post. I just don’t think he should be allowed to post his own thread about it.
There already was a daily thread where discussion takes place about the veracity of the claims about the CCP virus, which he posted and still can post his statistics. In fact he used to defend his position, but by the time I left the thread, he had quit responding. He would just post his data, without any context, and go do whatever it is he does. Now he’s moved his activities to the main page under News and Activism. He’s not reporting news, just numbers. Numbers that paint a verifiablely false image that does nothing more than spread fear to the uninformed that only read the headlines. He’s not preforming any activism, because he never defends what ever it is he’s trying to promote. All he does is post a what amounts to an online hand grenade and runs away. Sometimes , there are some misguided FReeprs that applaud his little stunt. They are few and far between, and from what I’ve seen, they never defend it either.
Like I said, I think Kozack should be allowed to post his statistics. I don’t think it should be posted as it’s own thread, as its become obvious he’s doing nothing more than spreading provable lies. Most definitely he should not be allowed to post it under “New/Activism” because it’s neither. At best it’s a vanity posted daily for no other reason than so Kozack can rile people up. In that case it’s best posted under Vanities. At worst it is a continued straight out lie, and doesn’t deserve a spot at the top of a thread.
That’s just my 2 cents. I am sure others will disagree, and the mods will do whatever they feel best with my complaint. I just think the FR readers deserve more than lies and vanities posted as News and Activism.

Kozak’s problem is that he cannot, and never could defend his position. He was wrong and remains so. It probably hurt his ego. This is how he makes himself feel better, with a drive by posting.

I don't agree/disagree with you. I'm not calling for him to be silenced, either. If that's how he wants to express himself, he should be allowed to. I just think the manner he's doing it is detrimental to FR in general and the truth specifically. Neither one of which is good for the forum, or the people that visit it.

That's like claiming Snopes and Wikipedia are the gold standard on the net for accuracy. Worldmeter's numbers can be proven to be false. If even one instance proves that then the whole data set is wrong as it is posted, and the way he is presenting it. Again, no (proper) context.

I reported abuse several times for this post he does daily. No action has been taken. Like, everything else these days, FR has been corrupted by leftist operatives like Kozak, who set out to sow discord and distract us from the elimination of personal liberty taking place worldwide.

Oh, I was positive that I wasn't the first. More people need to report it. It needs to be done daily by everyone that agrees that it is out of line, as well. Again, I don't think he should be censored, just not allowed such free reign in his activities to spread fear and lies.
I've called individuals out publicly about it here and elsewhere in real life and the net. That's because even though it presents itself like the flu and has a tranmissibility (sp)? and mortality rate that are similar it is not the flu. As far as the Flu-Bros thread goes. It's posted in General Chat, not News and Activism, and the people that post in favor of its premise stick around to argue their point, for the most part. That thread and what Kozack does doing are apples and oranges in that regard.

But the real problem here is the data are corrupted. Usually in a debate at some point people can settle on the facts of the question. Thus far, we have people advocating a case fatality rate of 3% and vaccines take 10 years to develop on one end of the spectrum all the way to there are only 2000 deaths due to Covid (all the rest don’t count as those people died with CoVId born of it) and the vaccines have chips in them and are the mark of the beast.
In an environment where not only are there such divergent opinions about the data coupled with the desperate need to be right about whatever data you believe in, there is no hope for progressing to reasonable discussion.
And as usual the truth is somewhere in the middle. I don’t think worldodometer is correct. Too many reports of death but not well vetted. Far under total cases as ir reports only positive tests.

I think total true deaths are probably around 350,000
I think given the data we are approaching herd immunity
I think we should use targeted and scientifically soundly proven therapies and preventive meds (vaccines for prevention, bamlanivimab and regeneron monoclonal antibidies). Merck had an oral antiviral that looks extremely promising in phase 3 trial. Israel demonstrates the power of population vaccination. India is currently demonstrating that despite ivermectin being broadly available there is a second wave developing.
Until such a time we have agreement on the data we cannot ever agree on what to do.

You are exactly right.
We can’t have confidence in the numbers, because TPTB want us to be afraid so that they can control us. The death numbers were likely inflated, so that they could be used to advance an agenda to get Trump out.
What is astonishing is that people like Kozak know (or should know) these numbers aren’t accurate, yet lob these numbers because of some sort of virtue-signaling that we should all stay very afraid.
People who post on the flubros thread generally agree that the virus is real but the reaction to it is overhyped.
This is Free Republic, a place where freedom is highly prized, yet Kozak et al want us to not be free. If we disagree with our lack of freedom, in the fearbros’ minds, we aren’t taking it seriously enough.
Be afraid, everyone! Run away and hide! Stay in your homes you healthy people! Listen to Dr. Fauci, no matter if he says one thing one day, and the opposite a week later!

I agree with everything you posted after this statement. The problem I am speaking of is that a certain person is allowed, on a daily basis to post a thread that is verifiablely false. He posts it as fact, in the News and Activism portion of the forum with the sole purpose of causing hate and discontent. There is no other rational explanation for his behavior. Over the years, I've seen others get time outs or banned for such behavior, but this has been allowed to go on and on. Yet again, I don't think his posts should be censored, just put where they belong.
