During my nearly two decades in Japan, when people would refer to me as a "white guy", I'd ask them to put their hand next to mine and determine which was whiter. Inevitably, theirs was and we'd have a good laugh.
I always messed with them about when they would talk about seeing so many ‘gaijin’ while they were travelling overseas.. pointing out that THEY were the ‘gaijin’ ;D
