I’ve learned different people have varied abilities of endurance in all things. This applies to health issues as well.... we do have limits.
Hah. And here I thought I was the only one turned off by those sappy, virtue-signaling “vigils”.
You’re on target, skimbell.
Compared to mine, their BBQ ribs are pathetic.
Just at at Texas Roadhouse (Southaven, MS.) yesterday. By the time I got my table, they were telling people it would be a 2.50 hour wait for a table.
I prefer Outback’s bloomin onion and salad.
It is like migraines; it varies greatly in sufferers. May he rest peacefully now, with no more pain.
Probably the same reason I have to click Post Reply twice when replying to the OP of a thread. The first time, it just refreshes the page. The second time it actually takes me to the reply screen.
The ribs are hit and miss. My go-to meal is pulled pork with loaded baked potato and a salad. I eat the salad and potato; the pulled pork goes home with me along with 4-6 rolls.
My brother in law went from a fairly healthy 78 yr old guy working at Lowes 4 days a week to a nursing home resident who can’t walk and is incontinent. From COVID. I don’t think he was too depressed before that but he sure is now.
Your probably right on that, he was severely depressed. I want to know what treatment he got for Covid, or did he get anything?
COVID didn’t kill your BIL. COVID didn’t kill Kent Taylor. I’m just tired of the dishonest reporting blaming everything on COVID.
“He had severe untreatable tinnitus. It drives a fair number to suicide.”
I got mine from Vioxx. The doctor told me I would just have to live with it. I’m lucky, it killed some people.
“It’s maddening at times”
Worse when it gets quiet at night. My hearing is fine.
Agreed - it’s a stupid attempt at hyping a political agenda.
It didn’t kill him, he’s in a nursing home.
Sad. RIP.
A growing body of research suggests that COVID-19 trigger tinnitus or
worsen pre-existing cases.
study from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England, found that
percent of 3,100 participants from 48 countries experienced a worsening
their existing tinnitus after contracting COVID-19.

First off, they're fall-off-the-bone mushy instead of just tender. They steam their ribs, which washes out the pork flavor, making them just a carrier for their thick, ultra-sweet BBQ sauce. It's like eating candy on bones.
I always eat too many peanuts before I get the meal.
