It has been known for a while that PCR tests were much more sensitive than the alarmingly efficient superspreaders, which represent only 2-10 percent of infections. Hopefully there won’t be as much pressure to get a vaccine as to wear masks.

I believe this is not an uncommon dynamic with a good many viral contagions. I’m not sure if there are other viruses that see this kind of hyper-spread among a super-minority of carriers. But, ‘super-spreader’ have long been known to be a thing.
There is another thing the report highlights that needs further investigation.
Obviously a “super-spreader” (s0meone with a very high viral load) who is still asymptomatic has something going on with their immune system that is preventing whatever viral load they have from causing an illness. Exactly what defense(s) their systems have needs to be investigated. If everyone had their immune systems the Covid-19 virus would be another innocuous bug we carry with no ill affect - like millions of other such bugs for which that is already the case.
Yes, it’s interesting that so many people have been unable to understand what viral loads are.
