Great idea, with some backing in California but that is sadly from a minority of California voters.

It - upholding the 2nd amendment - is a good Conservative idea, but as his major theme it is too narrow and it will not be on target with all Conservatives, whether they agree with it or not, because, I’d suggest, most Conservatives in California do not have a personal investment in owning guns.

It takes bigger ideas than upholding the 2nd amendment to attract a large number of voters.
