Dozens of expatriates were killed or left missing in an ambush outside their hotel compound in the strategic hub of Palma, close to Africa’s biggest gas project.
Last night relatives of those unaccounted for were struggling to discover their fate. There was anger about the lack of an effective evacuation plan amid repeated warnings that Palma was a target for insurgents in Cabo Delgado province who have become increasingly well-equipped and brazen.

Africa is becoming a Chinese economic colony. Would not be surprised to learn that the Chinese are paying for mercinaries to guard their projects. Suspect they are hiring many ex military from South Africa, Britain, France the US,Australia and even Russia. Doubt battles and their aftermaths are reported in the MSM.
Things are picking up in Mozambique now that the CIA and US Specops have arrived.

When comparing what Trump did in one term, while being constantly harassed and attacked by the Democrats, left, and their media allies, there can only be one of two conclusions. Either 1. Trump was an exceptionally great President. or 2. Most career politicians, including those who make it to major political office, are laughably incompetent and incapable.
The truth is probably a bit of a combination of those two.
If it was a combination of former SEAL's, Delta Force, CIA armed operatives this probably would not have happened. Other than maybe Britain, Israel, and some French spec-ops have the intel and other resources to avoid this. IMHO.

Most likely a travel insurance operation.
Companies working in third world sh*tholes take out executive travel insurance for their company contractors. These contractors are likely high-level employees of a company.
Executive insurance includes paying ransoms and rescuing insured contractors from crappy situations. Rescue may include hiring in-country operatives to rescue the company executives. If more is needed, the insurance company will send in its own group of specialists via air or ground convey to extract the insured. These specialists will include former spec-op personnel, including Navy SEALS, Army Special Forces and Marines. Chopper pilots, too. And other specialists.
Americans will hardly ever hear anything about these insurance operations unless an extraction/rescue goes bad and lots of locals get killed.
If ever you expect to travel to a lawless sh*thole, it’s a good idea to pay for executive insurance. Most of these sh*thole countries have limited resources and won’t expend much in the way of cash to mount a search and rescue operation or pay ransom demands for your sorry ass. You want an American Lone Ranger and Tonto looking for you, not a third world three stooges troupe.
I wonder if Ross Perot has a son that took over his companies after he passed away?
