Biden lays groundwork for environmental regulations

....Significant changes are also in the works at the Interior Department, where Biden instructed the agency to review three national monuments that were altered during the Trump administration.

The review of the Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante monuments -- where former President Trump reduced the amount of protected land -- and the Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monuments, which Trump opened to commercial fishing, is supposed to determine whether it “would be appropriate” to restore the previous “boundaries and conditions.”...

....The Biden administration has also listed dozens of Trump-era environmental rules across several agencies that it plans to review, including rules governing air quality standards, water pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.

The administration also has its eyes on reversing Trump’s roll back the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, a move that eliminated previous penalties for companies that accidentally or incidentally kill birds.

The Interior Department said earlier this month that it would propose a rule to revoke the Trump era rollbacks to that law, setting it up to be one of the first environmental regulations taken on by the Biden administration though the lengthy regulatory process.

In the meantime, the Biden administration has announced that it intends to rescind a legal opinion undoing penalties for companies that accidentally or incidentally kill migratory birds.

People ask, where is our leadership? Why hasn't Biden visited Texas or the 4 state tornado damage or the border? Or delivered a SotU ?

Apparently it's because his only focus has been on sitting by the fireplace while a bunch of yoots dismantle everything that 80 million plus voters wanted Trump to do. This administration doesn't have time for anything except pettiness and revenge.

All those regulations that Trump eliminated over his 4 years are coming back and will be more onerous than ever.

The rules that will be put in place will be full communism in ways we have never seen.

Yes, much will be challenged in courts and few rules will be tossed out....but the majority will stand and our nation will never go back again.

REFERENCE Stephen Miller Launching America First Legal to Fight Biden in the Courts
Big League Politics ^ | Mar 27, 2021 | Richard Moorhead / FR Posted by conservative98

Former Trump White House policy advisor Stephen Miller is preparing to launch a new legal group to fight President Joe Biden’s agenda in the court system, taking a page from the book of the ACLU and other left-wing advocacy groups that coordinated with Democrats to try and block Trump’s platform during his time in office. Miller’s group will be titled America First Legal, distinguishing itself from other conservative legal groups by adopting a name will an expressly populist and nationalist bent.

Miller reportedly is interested in leading the group on the basis of his experience crafting policy in the Trump White House, and structuring presidential orders in a manner that would endure intense scrutiny from left-wing judges in the court system.

America First Legal will seek to coordinate with Republican state Attorney Generals in addition to filing its own lawsuits. Republicans such as Ken Paxton have already seen success in suing the Biden administration, with Paxton effectively overturning Biden’s temporary cessation of all ICE deportations as a violation of federal law.

Federal judiciaries are among the few civic institutions in American life where conservatives still hold a degree of power, and it’s very likely much of Biden’s liberal-globalist program will run into problems within the system, especially if Republican victories in the 2022 midterms force Biden to adopt Barack Obama’s approach of legislating through executive order. Former Clinton impeachment lawyer Ken Starr is expected to take on a senior role at America First Legal, with former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows also slated for the group’s board.

14 Republican Attorney Generals have signed onto a lawsuit challenging Biden’s shutdown of Keystone XL pipeline construction, in what could become the next major court case of Biden’s (Excerpt) Read more at bigleaguepolitics.com ...

HERE'S THE "HUMANE" IDIOT UP CLOSE:

Joe Biden received five separate student deferments....deemed unfit for Viet-era military service,
pleading for deferments b/c he was plagued w/ childhood asthma.

Yet the egotistical lamebrain does not see the irony----continually bragging about his "athletic" achievements in
lifeguarding, football, etc....... and other strenuous activities that would prevent someone with asthma from participating in.
