There is absolutely no constitutional foundation for this kind of system.

Of course there is. These businesses are private property and it's up to them if they want to only let vaccinated people use their property.

The government's role here, and the purpose of the passport, is simply to help consumers demonstrate that they've been vaccinated if they so choose.

Now, if the government was mandating the vaccination I'd agree with you.

Wrong private businesses do not have unlimited authority to decide who or what one must do in order to enter their business. We have things called laws the restict or force businesses from doing such things. For instance a business can not tell Jews that they have to wear a star to enter.

Under your belief a business could force anyone to ingest anything if they wanted to enter. Don’t say it is a choice one has a choice to face the consequences if they like because that is baloney when in reality some of these businesses are needed for people to eat and survive. At that point there is no choice.

Have you ever read the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)? The Act offers EXTENSIVE protections for people with disabilities traveling on private transportation that’s open to the public (air, rail, taxi, etc). It makes it very difficult to discriminate on the basis of medical infirmity.

But, even setting aside the profound problems the ADA presents for this system, what’s the enumerated power that allows the federal government to establish a database of your medical history?

How would that medical history collection not be a violation of the 4th Amendment?

Well that's fine...to a degree.

But a government tracking system / app / database being used for this to integrate into tracking where we go and what we do is well beyond that.
