Police arrested him Monday night on charges of armed sexual battery, kidnapping a child under 13 years of age, and attempted murder...Police said the man sexually assaulted the boy and shot him in the face before kicking him out of his car. Surveillance footage showed the boy walking, with help from a Good Samaritan, to a nearby business and collapsing.

I have no sympathy at all for the perp. I hope he likes what will happen to him in prison. But why does the age matter? 13, 12, 15, 45 why does it matter? It's still the same crime and should result in the same justice.

As I will never tire of repeating that in any truly civilized country those caught “in flagrante” committing crimes such as this would be tried, convicted, sentenced to death, and executed within a week of their apprehension. No exceptions and no appeals.
