There used to be a thread that gave a frequent breakdown of the statistics but I don’t think I have seen that for a couple of weeks. Is that still ongoing and somehow I just keep missing it?
Thanks for these statistics. The “it’s just the flu” is about as credible as “trust Sessions” and it seems to come from the same people.

I have to say the biggest surprise for me during the Chicom flu episode has been the low caliber of the medical professionals who tantrum endlessly about it.
I had always assumed only the best and brightest got through medical school. Apparently, not. I don’t think we’ll miss a beat when these doctors are replaced with NP and H-1B Indians.

Personal observation, in particular COVID-19 fatalities I either knew directly, or were no more than one person removed from me, suggests that the over 1/2 million fatalities reported in the US so far are not a gross exaggeration.

CV19 was and still is a HOAX. Ask yourself this question... If it (CV19) was truly as deadly as being sold, would we have an open border?

You are the one doing hand wringing histrionics. I got a call from the doctor that the vaccine was available. I made an appointment, got my arm jabbed, and left. Done. A vaccine is not magic but it is probably the best tool we have in the toolbox right now. Hand wringing is failing to do what you can in response to a problem.
I think the numbers are accurate, unfortunately. I also know people who have been on the front line of treating Covid patients. It is not a hoax. It is not just an unusually bad flu season. If it wasn’t for Trump’s Warp Speed program, we would be in much worse shape. I think those who live in conspiracy theories about everything are as far removed from reality as the Wokesters who make up most of the left, nowadays.
I can’t speak for all flu bros, just myself. I know the virus isn’t a hoax. I know the shutdown of our country is a greatly exaggerated overreaction. I think the numbers are somewhat elevated. We’ve seen them call people who die from car accidents CoVid19 victims. We’ve seen so many false positives it isn’t even funny.
My adult son got CoVid around Thanksgiving. He was the most masked and isolated individual I know. Although I purchased supplements for him, he didn’t take them until he came down with CoVid. Once he started taking them (zinc, D3, C, and quercetin) he felt better the day after he started them. He lost his sense of taste and smell, but after the supplements, he got all of it back within 5 more days.
What I am upset about with the daily numbers is that those numbers are out of context for the large majority of the American people. If we put on the tv screen every night how many people died from every kind of thing, people would naturally stop going outside off their homes every day. Does anyone remember why the Vietnam war was unpopular? It was because every day the news jackasses showed the daily numbers of KIA and MIA. It made everyone uncomfortable. We didn’t really lose any battles, but America lost in the court of public opinion. This CoVid fear mongering is the same d@mn thing!
Don’t get me started on how this is one of the first things we’ve tested for when you aren’t symptomatic. There are few diseases that we test for when there are no symptoms, the flu included. I get that this was an unexpected outbreak, but we didn’t react this way with any of our other novel diseases in the last 20+ years. Not H1N1, not SARS, not MERS.
This was a time of taking advantage of a crisis, and making it worse. Much much worse. I have a sister who left her house yesterday for the first time in almost a year to go out shopping. She has stopped living her life and being a happy person in absolute FEAR that she would get this and DIE from it.
The fear porn CoVid addicts will never convince me that the numbers Kozak posts every day are correct. They are inflated, for some of the reasons I stated above.
Please, now especially that vaccines are distributed widely, can we please STOP with the FEAR mongering? It is time to return to the OLD normal, the pre-SARS-CoV-2 normal. No more lockdowns, no more masks. Let’s smile at each other again, and hug a friend when we want to.
Let’s return to freedom and live our lives as we see fit, not as some corrupt government agency tells us we must.
