Let me think .. The neutrinos have passed ALL THE WAY THROUGH the earth on their way from the sun to the dark side of the planet. Then, after passing straight through 8,000 miles of molten rock and granite, the neutrino is going to be stopped by a 1/8 thick layer of impregnated glass and plastic?
