FWIW, I think there’s a decent chance that all 5 states goose numbers up, not massaged them down.
I think the deaths of every single residential care patient in those 5 states for the last year and a half need to be examined.
And the people doing the investigating should not make any assumptions.
As I understand there’s not an accusation that they massaged the deaths down, but rather the misled on where those under state care died.
