Yet another story about airlines behaving badly broke on Monday. This time, a family of four got kicked off a flight because the two-year-old toddler was eating. However, unlike all the other grotesque examples of panicked mask fascism, this story has a happy ending: the flight attendant who caused the ruckus was the one who ultimately got kicked off the plane, and the family was allowed back on.
As a preliminary matter, the evidence is very strong that little children neither get nor give COVID from or to those around them. And as a factual matter, putting masks on a child who has just turned two is cruel. The family's situation was also difficult: not only did they have a baby who had just turned two, but they also had a special needs child who has seizures, and the mother is seven months pregnant. Also, it may matter that the family was obviously Jewish (for the father was wearing a yarmulke), a point I'll address a little later.
In the case of this family, people surrounding the family objected to the flight attendant kicking the family off when the toddler wanted to eat something. Eventually, the flight attendants, for reasons that aren't clear, kicked everyone off the plane.
This story has a happy ending: everybody but the bullying flight attendant was allowed back on the plane.
But back to that point about the family being Jewish. This is the third time in two years that flight attendants have kicked Jewish families off planes for weird or inappropriate reasons.
Just last month, Frontier Airlines kicked 22 Hassidic family members off a plane because of an alleged mask violation. Family members as well as witnesses said the unmasked member of the party was 15 months old,

Missing is the creep made another airline stewardess do his dirty work.
IIRC, from yesterday, the flight attendant was male. They are, given the remote possibility of a rare exception, preening homos. This one threw a hissy fit and kicked everyone off the plane. How dare anyone question his authority!!!
Well, if you’re going to act like Nazis, I guess Jews feel like the natural place to start. Not a bag fan of treating airlines as if they’re God’s gift. We should go back to the days when they didn’t even know who you were; if might give them a more realistic view of their value.
I saw this story on OAN yesterday. The attendant was a black female. OAN showed a clip of her on the plane giving her orders.
I thought is was interesting that the Jewish father made it a point to tell the news reporter that she was “African American”.
It wasn’t a woman. Go back (in the linked article) and watch the video. It was a black “dude”.
My apologies. It was in fact a black woman. I watched the wrong video.
Sounds like the woman was relaying orders from the guy flight attendant in other videos.
Dude, check your glasses prescription.
“ In the second video, above, the father notes explicitly that the push for them to leave came from a Black woman.”
Now back to this (see last video):
Another video by the same Jewish man who was told to take his family off the plane. He says the airline removed the steward. He said, and I quote, “The steward is not back on. They removed HIM.”
So I think the female attendant was relying orders from the crew, not the one who initially kicked them (or tried to) off.
See my post 11.
Would it be impractical for the airlines to make it a rule that all removals from a flight have to be approved by the captain? I know the pilots have their work to do to prepare for departure, but at least they are likely to be more level-headed and probably better educated and have more common sense than some of these petty tyrant, drama queen flight attendants.
I remember when this insanity first started last year and it was widely accepted (alas temporarily) that masks were not necessary for children 10 and under.
Weren’t these two different incidents? This has become so common now it’s hard to tell.
It’s not about health or science. It’s about compliance.
She should have been kicked off too. Militant witch... I never did see a male flight attendant? But you’re right, he clearly said ‘him’ in the last video.
Went to Lowes yesterday and 99% of the people were wearing masks. Not me. No one said a word. I refuse to comply...period.
Today is Mask Liberation Day in Indiana. I have to go run some errands in a while, so I can’t wait to see how many people confront me for not wearing mine.
It’s a confusing situation, but I think you’re on to something.
