It appears that some people think this bill was about genital mutilating surgery-but that is already illegal for minors in Arkansas-this bill prohibits hormone treatments for minors-the ones given to give them characteristics of the opposite sex-it is still a good bill-chemical suppression of something natural like puberty, or giving opposite sex hormones to a person who has not reached adult maturity can’t possibly be safe, never mind that it can’t be mentally healthy, either-we have NO idea what the long term effects may be-but it won’t be good-and any parents allowing/promoting this crap for their kids need to be charged with child abuse-they appear to have Munchausen by Proxy and need psychotherapy...

Good for you-I had my cub’s ears pierced just after birth, which is cultural custom in old Hispanic families-you want everyone to know your baby is a girl at 1st sight-she has earrings on-but I never let her get any body piercings or tats, either. Even as an adult she has not pierced her body or gotten any tats, even though many of her friends did-and now that they are moms, they regret it...

No Mr. Asa, you freakin moron, there is nothing “complex and sensitive” about STOPPING brain dead parents from destroying a kid so doctors can improve their cash flow.
Moreover, this sex change spasm in our society demands further legislation that will require no one under 21 can do it and then only after having to go through classes spread out over two years that do not teach both sides. They should only teach the terrible statistics related to this perversion and the negative side effects. I’ve had two distant and young family members with “sex” problems. They are both dead.
It’s time for conservatives to QUIT engaging in equivalency or “bi partisan” argument. Call a spade a spade and be damn loud about it.
