This reminds of the thousands of “marches against gun violence” that have been going on for decades in Democratic run death traps/er cities.
The definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
What will they do? Point at the person with a gun and yell “Gun!” and call their mom’s?
Can you clear that statement up to where someone / anyone can understand it?

Before I retired I worked with a bunch of folks from the Portland, OR area.
They were book smart but street stupid.
Right, just like all the “anti-violence” gurus that Chicago pays to try and reduce gang violence are just ex (or current) gang members themselves. It’s basically a kickback to the gangs to try to get them to restrain themselves. Of course, it doesn’t actually work very well.
