and I have no doubt, the end result will be these ‘unarmed patrols’ are going to request police backup (armed police that is) with just about every encounter they have - so now two groups of people will need to show up, instead of just sending the cops in the first place.
I have hope a few of these ‘unarmed patrols’ get killed in the field, just to show the stupidity of these morons.
Back in 2010 was in Portland on business. A German couple who worked with us commented that Portland was similar to cities in northern Europe.
Well prolly not anymore with the rotten fruits of its Wokeness on display.
Does the Portland City Council intend to send out people that have no arms? If the people have no arms, they can’t carry guns. This solves the gun thing problem that they seem to have.
Of course, taxes out there “Cost an Arm and a Leg!” So,
those unfortunate people would have to hop, “on Patrol,”
but they could carry guns.
Many years ago, Portland seemed to be “somewhat of a nice place populated by long haired hippies wearing tie-dyed T-shirts and looking for their next fix.” Now they are running the show....
Things have gone even more awry and I wouldn’t go there if you paid me to go.
A brilliant Idea if you want unarmed patrol folks to get shot up too.
Portland is on a suicide mission, starting with the stupid people who sign up for this.

Another entry for the “This Won’t End Well” file. So, if I’m a mugger with my victim at gunpoint and his wallet in my hand, and an anti-Gun Violence patrol comes up, I know what I’ll be thinking: “Hey, two more wallets! Thanks!” Then I’ll flee, of course. Wouldn’t want one of them to point his walkie-talkie at me.

When the Communist Chinese decided to overrun Tibet they were totally confident because the Buddhists were nonviolent. They grabbed people, beat some, murdered many, and enjoyed themselves raping and humiliating women and children.

Why in 2021 would armed drug dealers, gangs dealing in stolen merchandise, carjackers and the entire spectrum of criminals take notice of the Guardian Angels retreads in Portland?
