They usually are not - they are smart people but their POV is very different from a typical American
Time for some stockholders to vote out some time and money wasters. They get paid to have productive business, not pitiful pandering.
It is my understanding that in most corporations who the company CEO is, is determined by the company’s board of directors. He’s most likely a reflection of the board.
